Valentine’s Day Out for Kids

Joanne Angeli from Scholarships, Inc. will speak about how to apply for scholarships and financial aid. Also, information will be provided on HOC scholarships. Thursday, January 14 at the Center. Dinner at 5:00 pm; program starts at 6:00 pm. Please call if you plan to attend.

Joint Motion Plus

Warm water exercise classes at the CP Center that allow exercise without putting strain on joints and muscles. Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30 -6:15 pm from January 5, 2010 - April 1, 2010. Please call HOC to register before attending 1st class.
2009 Christmas Party and Raffle

Another great time together! 203 patients and families gathered for our annual raffle, luncheon and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Over 5,600 raffle tickets were sold! Thanks to everyone who helped this event be such a success!
50th Annual NHF Meeting in San Francisco

This past fall the National Hemophilia Foundation’s 61st annual meeting was held in San Francisco. HOC families, Board members and staff attended and came back with lots of great information and stories about their experiences. For some it was their 1st time attending. The meeting is a combination of educational sessions; networking opportunities; and social activities. Everyone who attended said it was extremely valuable to them.
October Community Night

A group of families joined HOC staff for dinner, socializing and crafting. Both adults and children participated in decorating pumpkins. We had a surprise guest – Scooby Doo! And, he gave out candy to all the children. A fun time was had by all.
July Community Night

This Community Night in July was a time to enjoy an evening barbeque cookout and make your own ice cream sundaes while the kids played games.
Timber Rattlers Baseball Game
June 25, 2009
Food, friends, family and fun was had on an evening in June at this baseball game. It included a tailgate dinner before the game. The evening gave families in our community an opportunity to know each other better while watching an exciting baseball game.
Wisconsin Legislative Day
April 29, 2009
A group from HOC joined 65 other people from the WI bleeding disorder community to travel to the State Capitol this past April. After listening to speakers from various organizations including the WI Medicaid Director, attendees met with their own state legislators to educate them about bleeding disorders. It was a positive experience about the power of telling our message to those who can make a difference.
